Would Not RecommendOpened the box, went through the instructions, determined that the latch rail was not present. Called Larson, they said the part is on back order, so no clue about when it will get shipped out. So, they ordered it, with the hope it will show up some day. Paid top dollar for the door.

Screen door with dog door is what we needed for our house to help keep flies and other insects out Went in ok. Issues were more with the lanai frame with this door. Directions weren’t great but were good enough to get through the installation

Would RecommendI had an older version of the Larsen Pet Door screen door on my porch, the hinges failed so I purchased the new model. It only took a week to receive the door from Lowe's and when I got home, I removed the old door and I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of installing the new door. I would point out to pay attention to which side is "in" and which side is "out". I don't use the pet blocking device so it really didn't bother me that I had the in and out reversed. Would RecommendExactly what I needed to accommodate my two dogs. The screen portion is heavy duty compared with regular screen but this may be a good idea considering the dogs might decide to jump on it. They are both 60 lbs Labrador Retrievers and I was concerned about it being big enough. They learned with the help of a few treats. My son installed it so I can’t speak to how that went but it looks great.
