Kreg AutoMaxx Clamp Failure
Would Not RecommendDO NOT BUY any version of the Kreg AutoMaxx clamp. They 100% fail to remain functional. The hand-screw quits sliding to 'automatically' adjust to the material dimension being clamped. Nothing fixes that. Pocket hole clamp failed too!

Would RecommendAlot of people complain it does not work. It does if you know how to manage it. The flatness of the end are solid. It can be a pain to unclamp, but a screwdriver wedged between the handles gets it open quickly. These are not normal clamps so they should not be treated as normal. The negative is they are overpriced, although if Festool was written on the side they would be $99.
Great to pair with other Kreg jigs
Would RecommendGreat clamp for its purpose. I use with the Kreg pocket screw jig and the Kreg cabinet pull jig. Occasionally I’ll even just use it as a clamp.

Useful but difficult to use
They are difficult to adjust and maintain the clamp thickness without fiddling with it repeatedly. BUT, these clamps are very helpful when used in conjunction with the mounting brackets from the same company. Just don't expect it to go very smoothly (the adjustable clamp mechanism is often hard to adjust).
