What Customers Are Saying
The battery-powered trimmer offers good cutting power and quiet, fume-free operation. It is lightweight and well-balanced, making it easy to maneuver. The battery life is generally good, and the two-speed motor and variable-speed trigger provide good control and efficiency. However, some users found it difficult to reload the trimmer line and noted a lack of availability for replacement parts. A few also felt the trimmer was a bit heavy and awkward for extended use.

Would Not RecommendI haven't been home to return the item. It didn't have the battery charger or the string line that eas supposed to be included.

Great if you have other Kobalt 40v Max equipment
Would RecommendFirst time buyer of a String Trimmer. Bought this one as I already owned a lawn mower and a blower that use the same battery (Kobalt 40v Max). I am satisfied, it works as described. With a total of 3 batteries of 2 mAh each all fully charged, I am able to mow, trim, and blow my ~2000 sqft lawn in one go!

cumbersome not user friendly
Would Not Recommendthe adjustable handle will not stay put. the weight and balance of this product is cumbersome even when the handle is adjusted. It has a longer "reach" making it awkward. Difficult to find the balance between length and heavy back and battery weight. The batter life is good but its ergonomics are not.

Not sure about product from packaging
Would RecommendThe trimmer is a gift so we don't know about how it functions. But, the box it arrived in was not in the best shape and had been opened and taped shut so we don't know if it was a return or not.

It’s a heavyweight
I think it’s a professional grade trimmer that does a fine job the issue for me is that it’s very top-heavy because of the battery. I’m a 5’5” woman and even after shortening the length I find it’s a bit awkward to hold and work with. I would still recommend it.
