Would RecommendBalances well with a battery installed. I took a dead eight limb off one of my trees in just a few seconds, then pruned a couple of yew branches just as easily. My wife watched and drafted me to prune her fruit trees next spring (wait a minute...)

Would RecommendI just picked up my 6th (pole saw) 80 volt Kobalt yard tool. Obviously I am happy with Kobalt. I had to take one back and got an exchange which could not have been an easier process (thanks Lowes). So now I'm rooting for Kobalt tools to stand the test of time. I haven't tested the more expensive name brand battery yard tools but I find it hard to believe they can be that much better than Kobalt for their higher prices. Keep it up Kobalt.

No replacement chain
Would Not RecommendThis saw works great, but if you have to replace the chain, as I do, GOOD LUCK finding a replacement. Lowes doesn’t carry one, THEY DON’T HAVE ONE LISTED IN THER POLESAW MANUAL, AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE COULDN’T FIND ONE.

Would RecommendWow I knew that I'd get the 10 inch bar if I got one of these and I'm glad I did It's the perfect size for those larger limbs cuts quick and clean and I didn't need my regular saw for clean up very pleased so far

Pole saw & 80 volt tools
Would RecommendUsed for limbing up trees in the road. Well balanced. It is a shame the Lowe's is not carrying the 80 volt battery tools any longer. I have an 80 volt chainsaw as well and it is a beast. We had an 80 volt lawnmower that was replaced with a 48 volt model (uses two 24 volt batteries)

Would RecommendThis Polesaw is excellently built. The ability to make short work of trimming is great. Older Kobalt tools did not have the strap this one does, very comfortable. It is well balanced.
