Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 24-volt 8.0-in Battery Pole Saw

Kobalt 24V Pole Saw

The saw is solidly built (as are all Kobalt 24V products). It is comfortable to handle and allows you to reach high branches.

Don’t buy

Didn’t like how bad it leaked oil. Lowes also considered this an appliance so couldn’t get a refund because the return is 48 hours after purchase

Well worth the purchased.

Tool works great, it does the work it supposed to do.

Chain fell off!

Worked great…for 30 minutes use. Chain fell off. Gave up trying to reattach.

It is very handy and tough saw

This product is very sharp and cuts limbs really high . The battery lasts a very long time , so you can get a lot done really quick . It’s easy to put together the extension and holds tight. I would highly recommend this saw . Perfect for home and farm.

as expected

went together easily and works nicley

Mail me what I ordered

I always prefer receiving what I ordered. The wrong item was mailed, in a shredded box. It also arrived late, but possibly not Lowes' fault.

Better than ever!

I like the warranty that backs up the equipment. My extended chainsaw was not working at all, and I was able to get it replaced through their warranty promise. Lowe’s customer service was able to find my receipt from several years ago and once I got that I was able to contact the manufacturer and turn in the receipt and they gave me an RA number so that I can go back to the Lowe’s to turn it in and within a few days, a brand new one was mailed to my house. I was very pleased with the service I r...

Want to buy, but Lowe's won't sell

I should be leaving a review right now, but I can't because Lowe's cannot seem to figure out how to offer a "tool-only" version of this saw. I already have three 24V batteries and refuse to pay for another one that I don't need. Completely defeats the benefit of having a product line that shares the same batteries if you are forced to buy a new battery with each new tool. Why even ever sell the "tool+battery" combo? If they want to give the buyer a discount when buying both, just include a c...

0 customer service

As soon as it's paid for you're on your own. Kobalt warranty is a phone number where you will die on hold. Lowes has your money and washes their hands of you

Good For Yardwork

I am very pleased with this saw! I was skeptical at first about buying a battery powered saw but I was totally impressed after the first use.Like other reviews the chain does loosen but it's no big deal and no tools needed to retighten. Just turn knob, push up bar and tighten knob, finished.Easy

NOT a Quality tool

Many flaws with this device including made like a cheap toy. Chain pops off at slightest twist while using. Fills up with junk and has to be taken apart and cleaned after 30 minutes of use. Burns through battery in no time. Very shaky unstable, bad design. VERY frustrating to operate and maintain this POC. Have had it more than one year, time for it to go away!

It's good, but...

You can't see what you're cutting because the blue housing is too wide. You can only cut right-handed.

Great pole saw

Super easy to handle, works great with same battery as my lawn mower. Not for really big jobs, but fits my needs perfectly, trimming branches.

Pole Saw

Pole saw works great.

Don’t EVER buy the extended warranty from Lowe’s!

This product is fine. It’s a gift. But your company appliance warranty is HORRIBLE.

Great little saw

Fast and reliable
