Performed as expected and made this chore easier & completed in less than half the time with a manual pole saw!

So far I am very impressed with the quality

I have only used it once, but it worked great and easy to use. I am still trying to figure out the extension as the instructions are not clear at all. I am starting to believe it is not telescoping. But the equipment seems very sound/solid which I am happy about. The biggest problem I have had with these saws is as the more you use, the more likely the chain loses tension and comes off. I will see in another year.

I bought this to add onto my other kobalt tools I have, works great and have enough batteries to trade out if needed

Heavy but long and does the job.

So I bought this today, charged the battery, assembled it, added chain oil (remember to buy this!), and gave it a go. The ~14 foot length is fantastic for cutting high branches - but it also makes it kind of unwieldy, especially when you are at the top of a 30 foot ladder, as the cutting end is pretty heavy. Without really needing to make any adjustments it easily cut right through some pretty big (4-5 inch wide) branches. It really did the job. The chain never came off and the battery lasted lo...

My husband bought this tool and have already used it. It made life so much easier. The time it took was quick. He was very happy with his purchase.

I was upset to learn about Lowe’s return policy at the time when I was returning the item. I had purchased the item for a family member which they ended up not wanting. The item was never used, but because of this short window of time I had to keep the item which I did not need. Lowe’s needs to do better at this. I can see if the items are used and returned, but this item was never used and in new condition.
