What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the headlamp for exceptional brightness and versatile lighting modes, with five distinct settings including high, medium, low, red, and flashing red beams adapting to various tasks. The comfortable, adjustable headband stays secure during intense activity without pressure, and the lightweight design suits extended wear. Reviewers highly value dual power capability—rechargeable via USB and standard battery compatible—with long battery life and quick charging. The ability to tilt the beam and switch modes without turning off is called a game changer. A few users report confusing button interfaces or occasional mechanical issues, though these concerns are rare compared to overwhelming positive feedback.

bright light, poor durability
Would Not RecommendLight is fully rechargeable, has a memory setting to come back on where you left it. Can use batteries of you don't want to use rechargeable pack. Comes with USB A / C charge cable. Light is bright! The "angle clips" have worn out after just two months, slips to angled straight down constantly.
It's good
Would RecommendIt's a good light without the heavy battery pack in the back. I unfortunately I had the light break-off of the band.

Cost is about right
Would RecommendI haven’t found a use for the red light yet but I’m researching. Two different white light modes are useful.

I bought this approx 1 month ago and it is extremely hard to get the white light on. Both buttons will turn on red light. Have to keep messing with it to get white light on. Very dissatisfied!!!!!

Hassle free replacement is a lie
Would Not RecommendThe headlamp continuously breaks at the hinge point. The packaging states hassle free replacement. However, when I went into the Mocksville NC store they would not replace it and directed me to contact Kobalt. That is hassle. Bad product followed up by bad customer service. I will not be buying kobalt products any longer.
Poor Quality
Would Not RecommendI have had the headlamp for a little over a month and it has broken in two ways. The hinge at the bottom broke when I opened the unit to charge the battery. I only charged the unit 3 times. Next, the angle adjustment also broke so that when I wear the lamp, the light flops forward and won't stay in position. All this was after very light use.
Terrible product
Would Not RecommendOn my second one- the ratcheting/adjusting position part keeps breaking and the light flops in my face!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!! This has happened with TWO of them!!! I’d rate zero stars if I could. Do not buy this !!!!!
