Would RecommendGood saw overall. I mainly bought since I have many 24v Kobalt tools. And I am right handed so it's nice to have a left side circular saw so you can see the cut easier. The more expensive 7 1/4" Kobalt is right side. And much bulkier, didn't appeal to me as much. The 6 1/2" is perfect for me. It has pretty good power and is fine with most 2x lumber, plywood etc. It is a cordless saw and definitely doesn't have the power of a corded. Not the best choice for hardwoods or cutting 2" full depth cut...
