Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 5-in 24-volt Paddle Switch Brushless Cordless Angle grinder
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this cordless angle grinder for exceptional power, lightweight design, and extended battery runtime that rivals corded models. The cordless convenience eliminates tripping hazards and increases mobility, while the ergonomic rubberized grip and adjustable handle operation enhance comfort during prolonged use. Users already invested in the compatible 24V tool system particularly value the shared battery platform and consistent performance. A small number report missing components or difficulty sourcing compatible accessories locally, though most consider these minor drawbacks. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it for homeowners and DIYers seeking reliable cordless performance.

Would RecommendWorks well, but the instructions are not great. I had to find a YouTube video to get it setup. Once ready though, it works with no issues.

Works good but...
Would RecommendI use this to sharpen my lawn mower blades and it works great ( with the right disc for the task of course ) I bought two of these, 1 for me and 1 for my dad and the one I have makes a weird noise like something is hitting when it spins even with no disc on it. It works perfectly so I never took it back but kinda annoying to say the least.
Works well. A little difficult to assemble.

Very good
Would RecommendThis is a VERY good angle grinder. It's plenty powerful and I like the paddle switch, soft start, and brake. If you can find this with a battery deal it's really worth it. The upside is it has the power and durability of the "big" red/yellow brands, but much less likely people would steal it from you. If you look at pro reviews, this always ranks right up at the top. Not the absolute top of the line, but its very good, and the price makes it even more attractive.

Do they even sell cut off wheels for this model?
Would Not RecommendComes with metal grinding wheels, but no metal cut off wheel. I was able to cut with the grinding wheel but not near as precise as if I had a cut off wheel. The only cut off wheel Lowes shows is not a threaded wheel which this model takes. Very Frustrating!
Excellent angle grinder
Would RecommendLots of power. Came with 5 grinding and one cutting disc. I like how the handle can be switched to either side. I used a Bosch diamond blade meant for concrete. Cut like butter. Was able to sculpt a channel for drainage in an asphalt and concrete area

Fun tool
Would RecommendI had never used an angle grinder but once I used this I understood why so many people use it for other than grinding. This is a powerful tool that, when the correct disc is used, will achieve the cutting or grinding task, sometimes within seconds. Users should be careful to use this correctly since just because this can do a lot of things doesn't mean it's safe to use it for that purpose. This angle grinder is adaptable for left-or-right handers, and they wrench is shipped into the handle and c...

Works OK +-.
Would RecommendAssembly was easy. Included separate guards for cutting and grinding. The Grind stones and cutting disk were loose packed and the storage bag had no way to protect them.
