What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to have mixed reviews. While some customers found it capable and powerful for cutting large trees and logs, many reported significant issues such as the motor burning out, the chain constantly coming off, and poor overall quality and durability. The built-in chain sharpening feature was praised as convenient. However, the high rate of failures and malfunctions seems to be a major concern, suggesting the product may be suitable only for light, occasional use rather than heavy-duty tasks.

Hands down, BEST corded/cordless saw I've owned.
Would RecommendPrice is an Absolute Steal. I use this more that my Stihl gas saw. It's just so quick and easy to use. For a suburban homeowner without huge timber on your property, this is all you need.

Kobalt Model A011038
Would RecommendThis is a great saw. I bought mine in 2020. No gas bill and no mechanical issues. Just plug and play. I like the chain sharping feature.
Very good chainsaw.

Save your money - just a toy.
Would Not RecommendPoorly designed and flimsy. Not a very serious tool with limited power and capacity. A lot of cheap plastic and showing wear after only two uses. Chain tightened seems like a good feature but poorly made so loosens. Constantly having to adjust chain or put chain back on. Don’t buy

Built tough
Would RecommendI like the easy hand tensioning for the chain and the built in chain sharping device and the power of the chainsaw.

Great saw for occasional very light use
Would RecommendThis is a great saw for occasional light use. Fantastic price. Very easy to use and adjust (assuming you know something about chainsaws.) I would NOT recommend it for moderate use (definitively not heavy use). I've own/ed six Stihl saws over 40+ years. Do not expect Stihl or Husqvarna type performance out of this saw. I carry the saw in my truck with an extension cord (truck has 110 outlets) in the event I need when out and about.

Winston The Wolf of Chainsaws: 18-inches of Power
Would RecommendI recently got my hands on the Kobalt 18-in Corded Electric 15 Amp Chainsaw at Lowes, and let me tell you, this thing is a beast! I named it Winston 'The Wolf' since it's my new fixer. This powerful chainsaw also had amongst the largest cutting blades I could find, and boy, did it deliver. I had an enormous fallen branch that needed disposing of, and this chainsaw tackled it like a champ. In about four hours, that branch was nothing but a memory. The best part? No gasoline! I mean, who wants ...

Better than a Gas Chainsaw Best I ever used
Would RecommendVisiting my daughter and a huge limb came down in her driveway. My chainsaw was packed in our moving POD. Know corded saws can be as good as gas. This one is a beast it cut through hide limbs and trunks like butter. Really the best chainsaw I have ever used. My other saws are Echo and Stihl. I have more than 2000 hours using chainsaws and never thought a 15 amp corded saw would work but it did work great! Highly recommend!
Great
Would RecommendI like the automatic oiler and the self sharpener. It cuts great.

Poor quality
Would Not RecommendChain keeps falling off after 5 minutes of use. Had to replace the chain on the blade over 6 times. I followed the manual but the chain still caused issues. Not pleased.

Pretty good saw
Would RecommendLiked the price and blade length. Make sure the tightening nut is tight. MIne wasn't and the chain jumped off the blade after about ten minutes. Re-installed the chain, tightened the nut real tight and everything was good to go for the next two hours.
