Would Not RecommendSo I've used these on metal exactly twice. Both times I was simply putting a hole in thin aluminum square tubing. The bit snapped both times even with relatively low pressure. I've had a small old crummy Ryobi set for 10 years and I've only had 1 bit break in that time. These Kobalt bits are the most brittle bits I've probably ever seen.
