Would Not RecommendI've had this set (or very similar) for a while, but used the 1/8 inch drill for the first time today. Snapped in 10 seconds. Unreal. Drilling in very thin sheet metal with what I thought was moderate pressure at most. Guess not; snapped like a twig.

Would RecommendI have owned a very similar Kobalt set for years and when my son got his first driver, it only seemed logical to help him with the best. These kits have everything you need to help in projects at home or at work at a price that is far better than some of the big name competition, are well made, and last a long time. Even the storage box is well made. Great work Lowe’s and Kobalt.

Would Not RecommendI literally ground off the teeth on every Phillips head bit in the entire kit just building a workbench today. Everything in this kit is probably good for one use or in my case less than one use.

Would Not RecommendI a hobbiest and have acquired a number of Kobalt tools and tool accessories over the past few years, and for rough in work they have generally performed acceptably well. But, the 50- piece hex shank screwdriver bit set has been exceptionally poor. I exchanged the first two copies of this set because of failures of the quick release connector.
