Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 21 -Piece Assorted Assorted Titanium Jobber length Twist Drill Bit Set

Nice set of drill bits

Long lasting drill bits. After using these multiple times they are still sharp and work well.

Works fine as expected.

Works fine as expected.

Wobbly, Misaligned

Some bits in this set are not true/straight in hex base, totally unusable.

Why? Needs a better overall design.

Why is the quick change holder shaft is bigger than a 1/4" hex drive? Why do the drive bits not lock into 1/4" drive on drill? Why is the case so thick? Case could be half as thick. It takes up A LOT of room in the drill bag for what it holds. Drill bits are ok. Not sure how the pot metal drill bit base will hold up.

ehh, not a fan of these bits.

so I bought these because I had to get through some concrete blocks. it did not go well. i then moved on to some (admittedly tough) wood projects and still ended up with bends, scratches, and breaks. usually Kobalt is a great value, this might be one of their very few misfires.

Two bits snapped off drilling through hard plastic

I typically have great luck and results with Kobalt tools and accessories. That was not the case with this bit set. Two of the bits snapped off while drilling through plastic!. I finished the job with one of my old Ryobi bits that worked just fine. These quick change bits sound like a good idea as the shank size of each bit is identical so you don't have to keep adjusting the drill chuck. This set is going back to Lowes!

Liked it

Always had good service from Kolbot. This fit impact wrench

Nice Box - Bits Not So Much

Wanted a quick set for convenience and these looked like an OK inexpensive choice and I have had some fine Kobalt tools before. 1/8 bit broke on the first few revolutions on soft metal. Luckily two provided (a clue). I used a few of the others very carefully and so far so good. Kobalt shouold do better.

Do not buy

Do Not waste your money on this. Broke 2 drill bits on the first use going through wood and aluminum. The speed chuck shank is an off size and the quality of the whole set is very poor. Plan to return it for a refund.

Don’t Buy This Set!!

Bits didn’t fit well in my quick disconnect drill which is what they’re designed for I believe. I would have taken them back but I needed a couple of bits at the time and they worked decent enough to get the job done. Probably wouldn’t buy anything Kobalt again

good while they last ...

These are barely used, but so far two of them have broken. Next time I guess I’ll have to pay more for another brand. I like the hex shank to keep the bit from spinning, but I expect that that is causing the bit to snap when it binds in the wood. It’s a trade off – I’ll need to be more mindful of the material I’m using them on.

Drill

Work as expected use for wood or plastic. Have cobalt set for steel

Kobalt 21,piece drill bit set

Great deal for all the different sized bits and in a case makes it easy to keep them together.

High quality set

I'm becoming a great fan of Kobalt products. They are durable and are built with convenience in mind. This is a really nice set of drill bits in a handy organizer.
