Rugged
Would RecommendNot much to say about a deep socket. It works as designed and seems rugged enough to handle what I use it for. I needed a 3/4-inch deep well socket for my impact wrench tote bag which I carry on road trips to classic car shows in the event of a flat tire. We have three classic cars all with different tire lug sizes so I needed to make sure I had the right size in a deep socket.

measures 1/2" but point to point, not edge to edge
Would Not Recommendedge to edge measures about 57/128" or ~0.445" while point to point, measures 65/128" or ~0.5" On other impact SAE 1/2" sockets, edge to edge measures ~0.5" This makes driving a 1/2" hex head lag bolt, for instance, impossible due to it not fitting the smaller socket.
