Would Not RecommendI wish I had checked the reviews before purchasing. I used it 3 times to take the wheels off my car to fix the breaks. It stopped after removing the bolt while I still had the button pressed, and when I went on to the next it started again and then stopped after about a half second. I was able to remove the bolt easily by hand. Now the tool doesn't spin when I press the button. Side note, it is NOT variable speed. If you're going to buy this make sure to use it enough for it to break rather than...
Powerful
Would RecommendTire shop way overtightened lug nuts on SUV. Would not budge with Hercules or Milwaukee battery impacts or a breaker bar. Crazy tight. This impact wrench took them off like a hot knife through Styrofoam. Great addition for those bolts that just won't budge with battery powered impacts or breaker bars. We nicknamed it Big Bertha!
POWERFUL
POWERFUL! Purchased solely because it was listed at 353 ft pounds of torque. Pro: it took the 1-11/16” nut off the axle of my 24 year old truck like it was butter. I was impressed! Con: First impression, I opened the box and the first thing I saw was the security bit screws that hold the two halves together were not tightened. One of the screws was sticking out 1/4”. Luckily I own a set of security tork bits and was able to tighten the screws, the screws on the rear were also loose. So much for ...

Corded power tools for me!
Would RecommendGreat additions to my rechargeable hand tools. It helped with long lugs to speed up but the process. I still went by hand and a torque wrench for the finish work.

Worked for a couple months and broke
Would Not RecommendIt worked great while it worked, but after a few uses, you could hear the motor spinning but it was not driving the wrench.

Has to be more than 350 ft-lbs
Would RecommendDon't let the specs fool you. I have yet to find a nut this thing couldn't remove, and that includes rusty lugs off a 30 yr old pickup and a trailer hitch ball that was frozen solid. Not sure how many ugga-duggas this thing really has but it does what you bought it to do, every time. Even comes with a set of 7 impacts that you use most often with this thing.
Impact wrench
Would RecommendUsed the take off the tires that the tire shop always puts on with their impact. Works great!!

Lug Nuts
Would RecommendI gave this Five Stars because it performed well removing lug nuts from my Vehicle. They had been installed with an Impact Tool and I couldn’t break them loose with my Lug Wrench. One real irritant though; the 1/2 inch drive doesn’t have a spring-loaded button, so the socket slides off too easily. Also, the rocker switch isn’t symmetrical and it’s real easy to be in forward, when you want to be removing a nut in reverse.
Great corded impact for automotive use
Would RecommendI used this impact to remove a crankshaft bolt on a Honda Civic that's torqued to over 200 FT LBs. This impact is so powerful that it took the bolt off with ease and made the job so much easier without specialized tools. I also use this to remove lug nuts off my car with ease. If you cannot take off lug nuts with this impact, they are on way too tight. Also, it is easy to use it in the wrong direction because the rocker switch controls both forward and reverse direction, so you need to always t...
Beastly
Would RecommendTrying to install my new exhaust, I couldn’t get 8 bolts to break loose no matter what I tried. About 4 Chicago winters on those bolts were getting the best of me. Quick look on Lowes and came across this Kobalt beast. I almost didn’t buy it but took a chance because I wanted that exhaust installed. This beast of a tool zipped those rusty bolts right off. Well worth it even if I never use it again.
