Extremely Useful

Very useful pair of pliers. The choice in sizes gives you some flexibility for whatever project you are working on. Always great to have a set of these in your toolbox.

useless for prying nails

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have some of these, and normally I use channel locks to help pry nails out using leverage, but the nail just slips out, it can't grab or put any force on it. They are the most useless non-black&decker tool I own. The ones with the grooves (normally called channel locks) work fine though. These auto adjust just don't work as well, IMO.

Poorly made

Locking mechanism is poorly constructed making it difficult to use. Product feels cheap and not designed for heavyweight jobs.

I can't believe all the good reviews these got. These are super lightweight and super weak. Tried to use on nut on a drain and had no luck with the little pair, they just bent when I squeezed them and the big ones seem like they don't want to grip onto anything. I'll stick with my Ridgid ones and these are going back to the store.

Always consistent quality!

If I could pull one thing away from all the great features i would zero in on the ease of handling. I have arthritis and most tools are awkward and difficult to use and get any real force. The soft cushioning, large circumstance full length handles on these self adjusting auto-locking “plumber’s” pliers give an ease of use that I can’t find in other brands. great but...

these are actually really great... much better than I wanted them to be. I thought because they were self adjusting that they would slip or fail to hold their grip under load, but no such issues. the only issue I have with these is that the smaller of the 2 pliers is missing a screw, but they still function just fine. also, I was an idiot and purchased them that way. it wasn't a result of use or normal wear and tear.

Loss of power

The item will not tighten properly even with a firm grip. Had trouble then removing from bolt because it would lock into place. Not a good buy

Work well, just the tool for the job to use on large bolts which need to be held/loosened on both sides.
