What Customers Are Saying
Customers are sharply divided on this screw extractor set. About half praise its affordability and effectiveness when it works, describing it as easy to use and reliable for stripped screws. However, the other half report significant frustration: bits frequently snap, break, or shear off under light to moderate pressure, sometimes on first use, leaving fragments embedded and making removal impossible. Many describe the material as brittle and weak. Some found it ineffective on hardened or concrete-embedded screws, with a few noting standard drill bits outperformed it. Overall, satisfaction hinges heavily on luck and application technique rather than consistent product reliability.

Very strong
Would RecommendI had a threaded bolt that I could not remove even with this extraction bit. I put all of my 240 pounds of torque and the bit took every bit of it, but I still could not get the bolt out. I’m surprised the extraction bit took every bit of it without letting loose of the bolt.
