Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 2 -Pack High carbon steel Set Screw extractor and drill bit set

What Customers Are Saying

Customers are sharply divided on this screw extractor set. Many praise its affordability and ease of use, reporting it works effectively when functioning properly. However, nearly as many describe catastrophic failures where extractors and bits snap under moderate pressure, leaving broken pieces trapped in bolt holes. Reviewers note inconsistent performance—some experience success on the first try while others apply significant force with zero results. The fragility and unpredictability frustrate users who expected reliable performance. Overall, satisfaction hinges entirely on whether the tools hold up during use.
