Would Not RecommendDisappointed. Overall not a good tool or Kobalt product. Doesn't cut well or straight. and the handles don't stay together cuz the lame hook/latch doesn't stay together. I wish I would've gone with a different brand to replace my old one. bummer. not impressed. Got this one and the 2" and don't like either. I would NOT recommend. :-(
Works great on 3/4 CPVC Pipe.
Bought it for that and did its job, looks like it will work just as well for future jobs.

Would RecommendThis tool worked fine to cleanly cut several 3/4" PVC pipes, once I figured out how to actually operate it. There are no instructions included. Not everyone automatically knows how to use every specific tool. Yes I can (and did) YouTube it but I shouldn't have to do that for a newly purchased tool.

Would Not RecommendThe clip that holds the handle shut is easily popped loose, allowing the levers to pop open, exposing the extremely sharp blades to fingers and hands. When placed in a tool bag, this happened to me three or four times. I am returning this tool.
