I bought this for my sons' new apt. so they would have all the tools they could need for their household. They have used it multiple times and it has served its purpose over and over.

House hold tool

What I like about the tool box is that it comes with all the house hold tools you’ll need. The box is awesome! A box with tray is better than a bag with pockets.

Shipping Damage/Good Tools

Great value. Drawers are almost impossible to open. One corner was damaged during shipment but did not warrant a return. It was actually dropped on the corner of the box and the plastic case was bent in.

Good household tool set with a lacking box

This seems like a reasonably complete set of useful hand tools. I bought this for my daughter so she could fix things around her house and car. I don't expect heavy use but it is important for her to be self-sufficient on the small everyday tasks. The tool set seems complete and sufficiently solid for this type of work and better than competing sets. I like having it in a box for storage and knowing that all of the tools are accounted for. Must have in a house

I could not pass this Kobalt’s home tool set. My take on it is that they combined almost every hand tool for a normal household life, like electrical repairs/add-ins, furniture and appliance assembly, wall mounting, all kinds of nut and bolt turning. Sure, serious work or remodeling requires more specialized or power tools, but when it requires hand tools, this set includes all. Basically, just add a drill and you are all set for 99% of any work. 228-PC HOME TOOL SET

Good quality tool set. It worked great for installing some electrical outlets and a ceiling fan. The tools fit snug in the tool box so you don’t have to worry about them scattering around because each tool has a specific spot that it locks into. The tools seem like they’ll last a long time.

Nice compact complete set of tools.

Nice set of tools, pretty much everything the average homeowner and lawn mower mechanic is going to need. Everything is held in place very securely and it's in a nice compact case. The sockets snap in and out of place easily so less chance of losing those. The tool quality I would say false somewhere between average and slightly above average on some items. Decent starter set in a nice convenient package. Has pretty much everything a beginner/first time home owner/DIYer would need. It’s nice that it includes both SAE and metric measurements. Full size tools everywhere I go

This 228 piece household tool set is pretty incredible. The size of the tools are full size which you don't normally see in a kit that has this many tools. I would say is the drawers are very difficult to pull in and out. They don't slide very well and the bits and some of the tools are hard to snap into place. But as far as the amount and size of tools, I would have given it 5 stars, if not, for those 2 issues, hands down a great purchase.

I love this home tool kit & has everything you can think of that you will need. I have it in my spare closet so whenever there’s a project to complete!

Great toolset

This toolset covers most home tasks from tightening bolts, leveling and hanging pictures, removing doors, replacing an outlet and stripping wires etc. The tools are the normal good Kobalt Quality. The toolbox is well organized and the tools almost all stay in place. One pair of pliers is a little loose from the cover and pops out. Even comes with a magnet bar to pick up screws! They are tight plastic drawers, use some wd-40 on the slides and they slide much more easily.

A nice convenient home toolkit

I received this box with the essentials for any small household job. The toolkit comes ready to use out of the box as well. An example of what I did like was the wire cutters, hammer, screwdrivers, and small level. The sockets, bits and tape measure were also convenient in the toolkit. I am goi g to give a true feedback on the two plastic drawers that come out and they are smelly, tight, and not easy to put back in.
