Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 26-in W x 22-in H x 16-in D 4 -Drawer Steel Tool Chest ( White )

Smooth drawers, upper storage not high enough

Seems like a solid build. Drawers slide smoothly. They could be a 1/2 inch deeper. The upper storage is not quite big enough to place a drill inside AND close the lid. Plus, a support beam running the width of the lid consumes useful space. But, for $57, it's plenty good enough.

It great to use !! Love it

Smooth well functioning drawers.

I needed this to lock up my supplements and medications, and it makes me happy each time I can go right to the drawer for the stuff I need.

dent and sharp edge

Disappoint with this tool chest quality. Found dent at center of top drawer, and sharp edges on every drawer. Be mindful the sharp edges may gets you hurt.

Great space and functionality

Kobalt Toolbox

I purchased this tool chest along with a second piece that goes at the bottom. The bottom piece arrived with no issues. The top piece is defective. Three drawers are pretty much stuck. I have to rip it open and close it to use the drawer. I don't have the cardboard box, so I'm not sure what to do with the defective product. I already tried calling customer service, and they didn't do much for me. At the very least, I'd like you to send me new drawer rails. If possible, I'd like to exchange my pr...

Product is very nice for the price. Packaging was excellent. It was were delivered on time with no damage to the tool box inside.

Top Chest

My review is more about the great customer service by the employee that helped me pick up my purchase. He did everything without asking realizing that my physical condition somewhat limits my abilities these days. From placing it in my truck to laying it down so I could utilize my bed cover. He then closed my tailgate and re-hooked my bed cover. His help was much appreciated along with his pleasant attitude. Thank you so much!!

Excellent Product

Solid, Roomy.

Never was treated so poorly as was i today

Hope this review is read my many! I will never step foot inside a Lowe’s store ever again! Bought a Kobalt tool box , was not in stock, so had to wait couple days to get it! The part I’m so upset about is how I was clearly given a damaged product, had to fork holes in box from forklift, which was concealed by associate of Lowe’s, at curbside pick up! Box was turned away from me, dark at 9:45 pm, and she lifted the side that was damaged, to help me put inside bed of my pickup! Drive home 20 mi...

Nice toolbox

This toolbox seems perfect for what I need it for. It is a nice size - not too big and not too small. I bought the mobile bottom box and this upper box that matches it. I really like the space on top of the box which is perfect for battery chargers. It comes with a built in power strip. The boxes seem very well made, and there was no shipping damage. I looked at a General tool box at Harbor Freight, but I didn't like the plastic strip that keeps the drawers closed. I found it hard to open them, ...

Came Damaged

Nope Lowes just get worst with every order and no one cares. I called customer service and they would not help. said I had to go return to store. Went to store no solutions as they have no stock and everything is shipped from some warehouse. I purchased on a sale price and they wouldnt even do a new order. so just returned got my money back. getting sick of terrible service at LOWES

Very Poor Construction

The construction and alignment of the chest is very poor. There is no damage to the chest, it just was assembled like junk. The top is out of alignment on the left side and sticks up quite a bit making it look like there is something jammed in it preventing it from closing. (There is nothing jammed in it!). There are no adjustments possible, it was just put together wrong (or put together with out-of-spec parts). Again, no visible damage to the chest, but the screwed up closing of top make...
