Would Not RecommendBattery leakage caused the battery cap to break apart. Every time I've had a battery leak in an electronic I've never had the plastic break. I've always just cleaned it up with alcohol and it was good as new. However, the main reason for 1 star: I tried contacting Klein Tools to get warranty/product support. When I submitted for a Warranty/Support I kept getting: "Error message WRA Requires Return via Authorized Distributor". I could not continue past this step.

Would RecommendSuper quick way to test standard 3 wire outlets as well as GFCI protected outlets. Easy to read. Durable and dependable.
works as intended, people missing important detail
Would Recommendit's a very simple meter, maybe TOO simple? it has 4 lights that light up based on how high of voltage you're testing. it doesn't read out exact numbers. if 3 out of 4 lights are on, you know you have ~around~ 120v. THE PLASTIC SLIDES OFF THE PROBE TIPS! SO MANY COMPLAINTS THE TIPS ARE TOO SHORT!

Not very sensitive
Would Not RecommendMy previous detector easily picked up voltage through drywall and switch plates. This one is not very sensitive at all and does not perform nearly as well. It probably performs as well as the detailed instructions indicate (within 1/4”) which is the only reason I didn’t immediately return it. I can only hope I find my old detector that I misplaced.

Works well but a little pricey in my opinion.
Would RecommendWill test for multiple voltages however would like to have seen it go below 24 volts to 12 volts.
