Would Not RecommendThe battery cap (screw on) has failed after about 8 months. I started having trouble with the light and NCVT test coming on after about 6 months, cleaned the contacts and it was fine fine for a bit longer, but gave up after a few weeks. I cleaned it again and no joy, the thing is dead. I would not recommend this dual purpose tester. The contact from the screw on battery cap to the body of the tester is meh at best.
