Decent tool, but a hassle to replace the batter

The tool works as I expected it would. Very convenient for measuring long distances, though you need to be careful that your angles are correct. My biggest annoyance with this is just opening the compartment that contains the batter. The screw is so small that I nearly had to go buy a tiny Philips screwdriver (like the ones they use on glasses) just to open it.

Freezes up, takes forever to measure and display measurement,

Easy and convenient

Use a tiny screwdriver to open the compartment and install the batteries (included), then it is super easy to use. I used it for the first time to measure rooms for new flooring. Now a friend is borrowing it to get dimensions for a backyard fence. What a convenient tool!

Well Worth the $

This laser measure is perfect for the money. I found it to be fairly accurate, and it saved me considerable time on my project.

Never gets above 67 foot

Tried using in well lit conditions and above 30 FEET (not meters) you usually get "Lo SI" or low signal. Only when room is nearly pitch black does it measure above 67 feet (~20 meters) which is the biggest measurement it's ever given. Had to split the room in half and add numbers.

Fine for the price

It’s accurate. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. I’d recommend the Bosch laser measurer over this one.

Easy to operate and read

We used Klein's at work so when I retired I decided to get one. My wife doesn't have to help me now.

Missing

First of all they didn’t even pack this product that means everyone can take it then they posted delivered but I never seen it when I went back home.

A little tricky to understand the instructions

Great small, pocket size laser measuring. I like that it can save the measurement before you move it.

Took 2 hrs to open!! Needed tool I didn’t have.

Took me 2 hours to open the package!!!!! Sharp and dangerous plastic. So tiny needed a magnifier to read instructions. Needed a tool I didn’t have (a miniscule phillips teeny tiny screwdriver).

Tried once, couldn't figure it out

Still havent figured out how to get it to work. Not very straight forward.

When measured against my tape measures it is very accurate and much more convenient when I am working alone, especially for distances of 10' or more.
