Bread burnt on one side and too light on the other

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 69 years old and have owned numerous toaster and have to say this by far is the worst toaster I have ever used. Reason is that it's the only toaster I have owned that it's toasts both side at different temperatures. One side is too dark, other side too light. If I put a slice of white bread in and move it past the lowest setting 1 it's burnt on one side. Only usable on setting #1, the rest are worthless. Seriously considering buying another...

A perfect new toaster

Easy to keep clean

I like this toaster's design and size. I don't have a lot of counter space, so I needed a toaster that could accomodate thick sliced breads and bagels, but wasn't too large for the space I have. This one has a lot of settings so it's easy to get a perfectly toasted item. It's also easy to keep clean, which is very important to me.

Works well and looks great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this toaster for a few weeks and really like it for toasting thick and thin bread and bagels. It has a nice chime to remind you when your toast is done. It is easy to clean and looks nice on the counter.

Found a Work Around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Biggest problem is it toasts one side of the bread much more than the other side ( practically nothing but warms it). My work around is I put the setting on #1, toast one side, then flip and do the same on the other side. Works well, but why should I have to do that?

I Have Adjusted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was not happy with this toaster at first. It seemed to really toast only one side. It does not bother my husband as he cooks English muffins mostly. I was frustrated but have come up with a solution I can live with. I toast one side on #1, then I flip the bread and toast the other side on #1. Comes out pretty perfect that.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not happy with the way only half of a slice of bread is toasted when one bread is inserted. One side is very brown and the other side is hardly toasted.

Quality Control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a working KitchenAid toaster with this on, to see if it would toast more evenly. Not bad in toasting but it went into permanent bagel mode, only toasting one side. It was replaced under warranty with no issue. Suggest you buy better components or shift manufacturing location.

Great toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for 2 months now and I’m pleased with my purchase. Beware when toasting the first time, use the 1st setting or you will have a lot of smoke. I would recommend this appliance

Perfectly Toasted Toast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toaster as a gift! It is perfect for me. It evenly toasts the bread on both sides. I like that it beeps when the toast is done, so that the I can butter it while the toast is still warm. I use it daily, so I leave it on the countertop and it looks nice. If you are considering this toaster, don’t hesitate!

Stylish, Well Made Toaster

Disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this item because it was a newer model of a previously owned toaster. Didn’t need anything fancy with a variety of toasting options. Well, toasting is uneven. The top of the slices are much darker than the bottoms on every setting. It’s a toaster and it fails to evenly toast bread. I do not recommend this item. It is not worth the cost. I expected much more from this “brand”. I was wrong. Don’t make the same mistake.

Looks great with all of our Kitchen Aid Appliances
