Died before year old

Worked great .. until it didn’t ! Dead before a year old .. Really sad because it’s an expensive kitchen aid .. Cleaned everytime it needed cleaning and it just stopped working .. I filled out warranty and there’s no record of it.. purchased on thru kitchen aid.. into trash it goes

Makes great coffee! The coffee maker was easy to setup and use.

Poor Design

This is the worst coffee maker I ever had. It drips from the upper portion of the carafe all over the counter when pouring. Very disappointing for the money and the expectations for Kitchen Aid.

Not happy with coffeemaker

I purchased this coffeemaker a month ago & made maybe 5 pots of coffee. Coffee is great but when you open the top to empty the grounds there is probably a tablespoon of water that drips alongside the lid on both sides & down the sides of coffeemaker to the countertop to clean up. Not happy with this feature!!

Disappointed

Our nine year old Kitchen Aide coffee maker died and we had been so happy with it. Well couldn’t find one like it so we got a different model. Not very happy with it. Don’t like cone basket and it’s difficult to get back in place. Cover is very hard to get on. Sometime the interrupt function doesn’t work. It is also very slow to make a pot of coffee. Overall it works but very disappointing after our last Kitchen Aide.

Gold Tone filter remedied

I bought this in 2022. It still works and tastes great (with cleanings) and I just got the replacement filter that had been out of stock for so long. Other filters did not fit as well as the one that came with it. Thank you for getting the Gold Tone filter situation remedied. You have retained a customer!

Weak Coffee with Plastic Aftertaste

Bought for Christmas in the Charcoal gray color. The coffee produced by the machine is bland, weak tasting and has a plasticy smell and taste and to it. I don't think this machine is a winner. For the record, I used high quality beans and ground them with the kitchenaid grinder (which is great). Tried running multiple batches, tried water with vinegar, nothing got rid of the plasticy taste, and nothing made the coffee taste better.

Wonderful Treat to Myself

I had an older Mr. Coffee machine and the grounds never got evenly moistened to make the coffee. I am so very pleased with the taste of my coffee now with the spiral shower head feature on this machine. The machine itself is beautifully made and has all the settings that I need/want on a coffee machine. I will never buy anything but Kitchen Aid again!

timed hot plate

everything about the coffee maker is great except the timed hot plate and no way to reset it for extra time.

Maybe the newer model is better or just move along

ln hindsight many of the reviews are accurate. Both the good and the bad. It's designed to be a nice unit, but has some frustrating design mistakes and nuisance issues. Great service replaced the nice looking carafe quickly for leaking. But the new one has a minor leaked in a different location. Simple easy to run, no filters needed

I absolutely love my coffee maker, it is a part of our family. Bonus with this coffee maker, I don't have to wait for the coffee to be all done to pour a cup! Look forward to using my coffee pot every morning:) Thank you!

Perform well

I've only owned this coffee maker for 2 weeks but I really like it. The only part I find annoying is the black plastic rim around the pot prevents pouring all of the liquid out unless you hold the pot completely upside down

Fulfills primary design function.

It's fine. I guess. Regular brew is a bit too fast (so I mostly brew w/ the bean showing...robust? bold? i dunno, idk). Occasionally drips after carafe is removed. Every morning when initiating the routine, opening the drip 'spout' a water runs out and down (well, more water than I recall with the Melita recently retired) It's got me to live with it, i.e. leave carafe in there to catch and then empty after the flood/trickle gates open.

We're really enjoying our coffee maker. I just wish it would stay turned on longer.
