Disappointed — Does NOT hold up to outdoor element

I wanted to love this playhouse because the modern design is super cute, but unfortunately, as many other reviewers have noted, it simply does **not** hold up outdoors. We knew wood outdoor play sets often need extra protection, so we actually applied outdoor waterproof paint to all the panels before assembling it. Poor quality

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. It is not the white painted on but the wood one. I would not recommend this playhouse!! Terrible construction or material etc. Within 6 months the door warped have to rig it and put slide lock on it to keep door closed. Looks as if we’ve had it for 6 years it is so faded looking. Falling apart in 3 months

We got this for our kids for Christmas. Putting it together was relatively easy and we painted it using high quality outdoor paint. In 3 months, it’s basically falling apart. There are huge cracks in the door and on every side. The grill is warped and lifting. I can’t believe it looks this bad in such short a time- it’s an absolute rip off for the price. I would not recommend.

Sub par manufacturing!!

I purchased for my daughter for Christmas, took me a half a day off and on to build it. Brand new boards came cracked and some parts didn't line up. Wherever you build it plan to leave it there. It is hollow and heavy enough to break if it's shifted in any direction while moving to final destination. After a few months outside the wood swells up and separates. Now I have to drill additional screws in it and add other board to fortify and stabilize.I recommend for indoor use only.

Definitely recommend. Great for indoor or outdoor

Good instructions and easy to follow. The parts are well organized in the shipping box and individually marked for easier setup. Total build time was about 4.5 hours. Recommend using an electric screw driver (instead of a drill) to quickly assemble the parts without worrying about overdriving screws and bolts.

Easy Assembly

All the parts were there. Went together in about 5 hours. Recommend having a battery powered screwdriver, made everything go much smoother.

Really cute playhouse

My daughter and her husband got this for my granddaughters birthday. It was damaged in a few places. She emailed customer service and we received the new parts within a week or two. The wood is not quality wood but the main issue is it’s not painted. It has a light primer on it. I got white outdoor paint that was a primer and a paint and painted the outside and the inside. somewhat disappointed

We were so excited to purchase and assemble this playhouse for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. My husband is very handy and often assembles products and yet it took him about 4 hours to assemble the house. The picnic table top arrived damaged and he had to make repairs to it for it to be usable. Several pieces of the wood were in very poor condition, including the inside of the door and the mailbox. poor quality doesn't last

I am so sad about this product. It was out of stock for a long time and i jumped on it as soon as it came available. When we first got it the paint job wasn't great and there was split wood but what do you do when it takes like 7 hours to put it together? so we kept it and the kids loved it and have had countless hours of fun but the wood is warped the paint is coming off it looks terrible and like we have had it for forever! Overpriced for the quality

It’s cute but most of the wood is warped or damaged. Lots of chipped wood and areas where kids could get splinters. Roof is warped. It takes a long time to put together and is definitely not sanded or painted very well (very raw looking). I’d return it for a new one but then we’d have to take this one apart and put the new one together all over again. I think they know what a pain that is so they don’t care about sending out damaged materials knowing that people won’t be able to do much about it...

Noxious smell, defective parts

This was a gift and my kids were so excited to get it. Alas, in merely unpacking all the pieces, the smell was so noxious that I came close to vomiting. I haven’t even started to assemble it yet and I’m worried about my kids getting near it. Multiple pieces have warped paint and cracks, too. well organized packing

Assembled this for a friend. It took me 3.5 hours to assemble and I'm quite experienced with furniture assembly. Good instructions, just lots and lots of screws and parts to figure out. Fasteners (many screws!) were VERY well packaged and labeled, plus some "extras" were specifically included, something lots of other companies don't do.
