Almost impossible

Even with the help of my wife it took me over two hours to install. Extremely complicated. Major challenge. But was able to install even though the glass was left on a tilt. Impossible to level. Really do want to return the fixture but dont want to deal with taking it apart so im learning to just live with it. Plus my wife loves it so i cant return it whether i want to or not. Shes the boss!

I gave this a 4 star rating because the seeded glass is way to fragile for a light fixture, the slightest tap or bump and the glass shatters

Pretty good light

Dont follow the instructions because we did and the glass cracked from moving when trying to hang it up. We left the glass out on the second one until the last step and it looks awesome!

This light does not contain any wood

The pros: Light is very inexpensive and looks very nice once you (finally) get it installed. The cons: Despite the words "driftwood" being everywhere, this light is not made from any wood. It is metal that is painted to look like wood. It does look good and you can't tell until you actually touch it but the description is very confusing and I thought I was getting actual wood (I didn't see any other reviews mention this). Faulty Parts Causing Install Failure

The rods securing the glass to the fixture were too short, and tightening the bolt caused the glass to crack. Very cheap material and will be returning. Other reviewers are correct in that this is a poorly designed and cheaply made product making installation impossible. I will be returning.

Beautiful light!

I bought this light to replace a single light ceiling fixture in our much too dimly lit master bathroom. The style is beautiful and it puts off beautiful light through the seeded glass. It's nice that it comes with 3 Edison bulbs, but they were much too warm/amber colored for a bathroom which I suspected they would be. I switch them for clear, soft white bulbs instead. Difficult to install...

Bought 2. I returned them both to Lowes. I have never met a light fixture or ceiling fan that I could not install. After an hour and a half of fighting with this one, I took the lights back to Lowes, bought two different flush mount lights and had them both installed in less then 45 minutes.

It’s worthless in design

To be honest. They should pay me to buy this light. I have a new home. Yet I had to fabricate the mounting harness to fit. Then I had to got back to buy the right size bolts so that it could be mounted to were they light was not shaking and so it didn’t have a gap between the top and the ceiling. I am taking this back soon. For $130 dollars this should be built correctly not like a tonal toy.

Installation directions are horrible

Light looks awesome...even though hanging it was a challenge. Directions are horrible. You must be part electrician, part engineer to install fixture...hence the 3 star review

Great looking light. Not wood, but metal and heavy

This line is really attractive! They did a really good job of creating a faux-wood look. It's just painted onto metal. This fixture is really heavy, and it was a challenge to install because of the weight. While being really attractive, the vintage Edison incandescent lightbulbs are not really bright enough for use in the kitchen. I had to substitute LED bulbs to get desired brighter light output.

I bought several and get so many compliments. Easy installation and come with bulbs. Just wish they would stay in Stock as I still need one more

Great light

We ordered this light off lowes online. not seeing it first hand I was not sure, but light fixture itself is beautiful! We put it up in our kitchen , the bulbs are antique style , the yellow Amber so they do not give off a ton of light, we switched them out for a brighter one, still not as bright as I would like but the fixture it self is worth it. My husband installed the light, he said it was a bit difficult to install, he had to get creative to put it up.

Great Look! Easy install if you don't overthink it

I read some reviews on this light and about half the people had negative reviews on it because of the difficulty of installation. I have about four other larger Kichler brand lights and they all hang by screwing the large screw through the middle opening onto the mounting bracket that attaches to the wallbox. Then you slide the cover up and secure it. Well I glanced over the instructions and thought the screw was too short because I couldn't get it to reach the large hole in the mounting brack...
