Ratings & Reviews for JELD-WEN V-2500 47-1/2-in x 47-1/2-in Left-Handed White with White Interior Vinyl Sliding Window with Double Strength Glass (Full Screen Included)

Love this window. Changed the whole look of my livingroom and helped open it up with some great lighting

Dont buy these windows

I purchased these windows along with several other Jeld Wen windows and a couple doors. Everything went just fine, Until we went to install these larger windows. They are 8 feet long but Jeld Wen only put 2- 4 foot 2x2 supports ar the bottom. This caused the windows to bow in the middle. After numerous shims were applied we got them straight. The sliding windows on both end would not close properly. The maximum allowable width for the side windows from the latch is 24 15/16. The sliders themselv...

The window is great it was packed and secured well. As for as loading there wasn't any cordage available to help secure the load. I was told to purchase it.. not a professional way to take care of a customer after they get there money they could care less..

Curbside or in store Pickup

I have picked up several items so far for my new building and it has always been hassle free and efficient. I recommend this method highly.

This was a 8 foot window

It was broken and not packed at all..

Poor Quality

Glazing bead fell out and broken when received.

Communication Needs Improvement!!

Had problem with Lowe's informing me about the delivery time and the status of reordering new window to replace damaged one during delivery. Days later I went to the store to see the replacement window. No text or phone call to me. I was VERY UPSET, the contractor is waiting to finish the work, inside and outside the wall too. That cost me more in labor because of the delay. I went to the store to solve the problem myself since i COULD NOT TRUST the way this being handled. Lisa the department ...

Did not receive two windows I received only one

Not happy poor communication. I only received one window out of two spoke to someone twice before pickup and they never mentioned that there was only one window that the second window was broken until I picked up the window. Did not get a date of when the second window will be ready for pickup. which is now delaying the work on my property and I have to pay a daily penalty until I receive the window so they can continue to work. I expect to get this right and expedite the second window.

Nothing really its a nice window.

Love it. Had an old bay window. Hired a company for a new window they wanted 12 Thousand for one window. So I ordered this window and put it in before new siding, and it is great. Lots of sun it opens. A very nice window. Lowes could get it in a week all the rest were 2-3 months out.

Large Window

This is a beautiful window. It is enormous and the airflow it brings to our new room is fantastic.

Easy to install.

Fine product, fit peefectly, good price and service.

open package damaged and not accepted

Every window delivered by Lowes that was not in a package, was damaged with gouges to vinyl window trim,

Bad workmanship, misplaced pillars causing gaps

I purchased five sliding windows from Lowe’s in various sizes for my home. After installing one, we found a serious issue. The center pillar was misplaced, so the window didn’t fit properly. Even locked, there was a 1/16-inch gap, allowing noise and drafts. I measured: one side was 21 1/4 inches, the other 20 7/8 inches—clearly a defect. Our measurements were perfect, so it’s on the window. I had to cut excess silicone. I also found that the tracks for the plastic (Delrin) wheels were routed out...
