Ratings & Reviews for Jackery Explorer 1500 Solar Generator 1800.0 -Watts Portable Power Station (2 Solar Panels Included) (Battery Included and Charger Not Included)

at 1529 Watt Hours, this small 35LB Gen is a beast

The Jackery 1500 is awesome and a quality product, thanks Lowes, only advice I have is bring the cost of the carrying case down, $129.00 is pretty steep.

Easy, versatile field or backup power

We live among big trees in the PNW Winter Cyclone corridor, so get power outages fairly often. Part of the charm of living here. And of course stormfalls supply everything needed (i.e., wood) to cook, heat water, and heat the house. And of course we also keep in stock a dual-fuel generator. But there are times when we just want to run a couple fans to distribute wood stove heat, maybe a light or two to weave or carve or bang rocks together or play instruments by, while enjoying our comfy imposed...

Easy to use and recharge

I have been wanting to get this for a while. I'm glad I bit the bullet (making payments over time) and bought it because a short while ago, the power went out, and it was such a relief to put out this solar generator. What I like about it--it is easy to use and recharge. What I don't like--2 cables came in the kit that I don't know what to use with them. I thought they were to be used with the solar panels, but I didn't need them to recharge the generator. There isn't anything in the instruction...

Consider you needs

To provide an appropriate product review, I will begin by explaining how we intend to use this item. Our camper van has AGM batteries and a 1000 watt inverter. We needed a little more power than this, so a solar generator seemed to be a good choice. For our situation, the Jackery is ideal. It provides about 1500wh and includes an 1800 watt inverter. Its size (14" X 10.4" X 12.7") and weight (about 35 pounds) are just right for the limited storage. The ability to charge with solar is perfect. A...

Better than expected

Fantastic product. We ran our big screen TV, cable box and home theater sound system during a recent power outage for several hours and only used 15% battery. It recharges quickly and keeps 100% charge indefinitely in storage. I'm very impressed by this battery pack. I've sold family members on getting one too.

Great for grid down.

Works as stated plus some. Good preparedness item.

Good Product

I bought the 550 to have enough power for a few days with my CPAP. 2 days late on delivery; delayed my trip to wait for FedEx to arrive. 49% charge upon delivery. My trucks 12v cigarette lighter is broken so no charging while driving. Not enough power for an Airsense 10 CPAP through the night with humidifier on. A-10 is 24v so I plugged into 110v and used its transformer to step down. Power outputs have manual on off switches on the Jackery. Accidently Left the 110v on 1st day which opera...

jackery 1500 did not work

system didnt work. it would not charge. jackery would not return emails or phone calls. customer service was non existent.

Watts needed for use.

Very user-friendly and easy to use. Powers up nicely with solar panels, car or electrical outlet and lasts through the night for my needs.

Good for what use it for.

I think it's very nice and it works for what I do with it. I have many low voltage things like cell phones and USB lights and other things to recharge in case of power outages. This allows me to use a solar panel also in case of a long term event. I have other things like Kerosene heaters for heat and wood stove. I just dinged it a point for price, but 4 stars overall for ease of use and quality.

Jackery JSG-1500B AWESOMENESS!

Was skeptical at first; it was a lot of money; but the smelly and extremely loud generators can’t live up to the Jackery JSG-1500B! Haven’t had a serious emergency; but I’ve taken it out to the middle of nowhere and it worked like a champ! Never had to be concerned about having no power! I love the (4) solar panels and the power to run heavy appliances when needed! Im always gonna have a Jackery Solar Generator from now on!
