What Customers Are Saying
The drill bit set is generally well-received, with users praising its quality, performance, and value. The bits are described as sharp, durable, and able to cut clean holes quickly, even in harder woods. However, some customers have noted issues with the bits dulling relatively quickly, especially when used on tougher materials. There were also a few complaints about the removal of the traditional spur design, which some felt compromised the bit's ability to cut cleanly across the grain. Additionally, a few customers reported that the larger bit sizes did not fit properly in the case.

Would RecommendI needed just the 1/2" drill for a microwave installation but decided I would buy this set for future use. I was very pleased with the ease of use and it got the job done. Irwin makes great products.

Irwin paddle bits
Would RecommendOnly thing that could be better is the case. When knocked around in the truck or wherever; the bits fall out of the slots in the case.

Good idea, poor performance
Would Not RecommendThe idea to have a bit that fits into a 1/4” drive is good, but at the point where it tappers down from round to 1/4” drive is where 3 of these bits broke on the first day drilling thru 2x4’s to pull wire. I threw the rest away.
