Addendum to my previous 1-start rating

Irwin reached out and asked me to return these dangerously defective clamps to them for their engineer to "evaluate". They've had them for over a month and they've gone quiet. I'm out over $400 for these clamps, and now am completely empty-handed since I sent them back to Irwin. Horrible customer service.

They Slip!! DO NOT BUY!!

I bought 4 of these to lift a 500lb saw a few inches off the floor to get it into a mobile base. 2 of them kept slipping. These are useless and UNSAFE! Do not trust anything of value on these lifts. Do not put your hands under anything being supported by these lifts.

Good price and extremely easy to use.

This is a great tool to have if you need a small, strong and easy to operate jack. I used this jack to raise my stove to remove and replace all four adjustable feet for the purpose of leveling it. worked great--also raised my bed and installed sliders. Really easy to move now. One of the best buys I have made at Lowes.

It’s like having a third arm.

This product came in handy with helping me lift and align my cabinet. It was very easy to use, after getting used to the switch and lever functions. Just keep in mind to use a sturdy thin spacer in between your work and the steel plate of the lift so you work indent your floor or work. With that said just keep safety in mind, such as weight limits. I haven’t run into any drawbacks as of now. This tool is great.

Very versatile lots of adjustments

First time using a product like this and while a niche product definitely worth it when you need it. Construction is solid and has great features. Have seen cheaper off brands but would be hesitant to trust something like that lifting such a heavy object. Spreads weight out well and and didn’t damage any surfaces. Easy to control the lift and dropping item down as well.

OK BUT COULD BE BETTER

I would probably give this a 5 rating but I bought a Dewalt one first before seeing this one. And as another person said the Dewalt is more expensive, but with them together, the Dewalt you push down with the palm to maneuver; the Irwin you pull up with the fingers; Dewalt maneuvers better!

Needed in a hurry!

We needed to lift a refrigerator and stove to install a new floor. My first place to look was Lowe’s, I found my solution with in minutes. Checked the app, the item showed in store, I drove over purchased it and job completed within 40 minutes. That’s a Great exp. Thanks Lowe’s.
