Would RecommendI’m a Channel lock guy that was looking for a smaller wrench for my tool bag. I tried the Vise-Grip brand based on size and price. Turns out I really like these. Now are the heavy duty like channel lock, no but there serve the purpose I need them for. They are more of a light duty. I do really like the easy of push button size adjustment. But with them I can’t do my cool guy move and wrist flip adjustment when pulling out of tool belt. Recommend trying these

Would Not Recommendbutton release and adjust is very touchy in tight spaces. if bumped it can move adjustment making you lose the grip of whats being tightened.

It has become increasingly tough to find a solid pair of reasonably priced large pliers. That is until Irwin decided to up the ante and offer these 12 inch plumbing pliers. The Groovelock feature makes for superb adjustability. The 21 teeth gives you a very wide range to work through.

Would Not RecommendBought these pliers specifically to use on a large hex nut that is 2.5" wide and the specs list 2.75" jaws. Unfortunately this is misleading, as the opening is only 2.25". They are not usable for the one task I bought them for. The jaw surfaces do not "bite" very well either.
