Very solid - nice sharp edge

Heavy duty - cut paver bricks better than I expected

Brick Chisel

Perfect tool coupled with the brick hammer for removal of brick and/or stone. Then we went with crowbar and used it for tight spots and corners. The best thing about this tool is the top barrier. When I missed the hammer my hand was saved by the rubber protection.

gets the tile off the floor

used to remove about 30 sq ft of ceramic tile off floor. only sharpened once and saved my holding hand a couple dozen times.

Good chisel, not so good grip Shield

Good strong sharp chisel; withstood 30 minutes of chiseling old ceramic tiles off a concrete floor w/no problem or significant dulling. It could use a larger, more substantial striking surface, and the grip is too chunky to be comfortable. Grip also needs to be glued to the chisel; keeps sliding up to the top and getting in the way of the hammer head. But overall, a good chisel for a reasonable price.

Masonry chisel

The chisel worked great as advertised. The ha d guard was very nice. It worked well for the job I had.

I like the flexible hand guard. It allows you to feel a little safer when striking it it hard with a heavy hammer.

Small flaw

Great quality metal and can take a beating. Only problem I have with this tool is the rubber handle moves and can cause some misses if you’re not experienced. Otherwise it would be a 5 star

Used it to cut blocks and it was perfect puts each time

Brick Chisel

This chisel worked great for what we needed it to do. Comfortable to hold in your hand.

Works as advertised

Used this chisel together with a 1" cold chisel to split retaining wall blocks. Patience and a speed square resulted in cleanly split blocks. Good value.

BRICK CHISEL

THIS CHISEL WORKED PERFECT FOR BREAKING BRICKS APART. WE BOUGHT IT TO DO A SELF INSTALL OF BRICK EDGING IN OUR FRONT YARD AND IT CUT THE BRICKS PERFECTLY. WE DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Cur brick easily. Used to cut in half and shape to size. Very good product

Not your average chisel

Bought this because it looked cool. Thought it would work for my application. It didn’t. Then I was asked to rate the chisel I bought. That’s when I realized it was a brick chisel. Went straight outside and started chiseling brick with it. Let me just say it works great as a chisel. Not so well as a cake decorating tool.

Amazing tool!

Purchased this tool today to chisel out some bricks in an old bar. The chisel works just fine. The guard design is amazing! yes, it does slide up and down (cant slide it with just your hands), but even if it's at the top, you can still hit the metal chisel and keep going. The guard saved me from multiple hand strikes and is a "handsaver" I would reccomend to anyone with a big chisel job ahead of them.
