What Customers Are Saying
The Irwin Marples Forstner drill bits are praised for their ability to cut clean, smooth, and precise holes in a variety of woods. Users report the bits are sharp, durable, and maintain their edge well, particularly when used with a drill press. However, some customers experienced issues with the bits wandering or binding in harder woods, and felt they dulled more quickly than expected. Overall, the majority of users were satisfied with the performance and quality of these drill bits.

Better than the Ryobi bits
Would RecommendI've only used the bit twice, but so far so good. Clean, precise cuts. Sharp teeth and goes through the material at the right speed. Got it at an incredibly reduced price, which makes the purchase a great value buy. As good as you can hope from a big bix store shelf.

Forstner Bit Game Changer
Would RecommendThis 1.25-inch Forstner bit is a game-changer. It cuts incredibly clean, flat-bottomed holes with absolutely zero tear-out. It bores through tough hardwoods like butter and tracks perfectly straight every time. Highly recommended!
