Would Not RecommendThe bit would not go through some hard wood that bought it to use on. Extremely disappointed. Barley worked on cedar. 👎🏻
Maybe ok for soft wood but not for hard wood
Would Not RecommendDrilled 14 1/2" deep holes in oak which went ok as long as you are patient. Had to sharpen the bit to get through 7 more holes. Have been unable to adequately re-sharpen to continue using it.

It can get destroy if it hits a nail inside a wood

Would RecommendThis is a good product for the price, the blades dulled relatively quickly which is why it’s always better to buy more than one fostner bit. I haven’t found any better brands yet. This has been the one to last the longest so far!

Would RecommendI used this to make an oversized peg board out of plywood. The bit drilled clean holes without tearout. It got dull before I was done with the 36 holes, however.

Wasn’t sharp, but….
Would RecommendI purchased this new, in unopened package. The bit was very dull upon first usage. I sharpened the bit and it has worked fine since. I have purchased several Forster bits from Lowes, and all were sharp right out of the package. I believe the 2” bit slipped through inspection at the manufacturer’s level (probably on a Friday afternoon).
Great bit for beginning and experienced woodworker
Would RecommendGreat bit at a great price. Have used already a few dozen times in various hardwoods with no dulling so far. Very good quality bit.
