5/16 Woodboring Drill Bit
Would RecommendWorked great to penetrate 5 inch block of popular wood. I had to build a jig to ensure a straight hole would be drilled as I used a hand drill. Also, being the bit is quite long, it is prone to some flexing. I did not have an opportunity to try it in harder woods (maple, oak, etc).
