This drill bit worked perfectly for my weekend project.

Very disappointing.

I really wanted to like this bit as it has some very nice features. It has a 3-flatted shank prevents slipping in drill chuck, it has a hole for pulling wire, so after you're through you can leave the bit, attach the wire, and then pull it back with the wire. It even comes with a nice storage case. I needed to run some CAT6 from my basement to my garage and unfortunately this bit just couldn't get through a beam made of hard wood. I needed a long drill bit that would help me fish a low voltage wire through an exterior wall. The drill bit was easy to use and did not spin thanks to the hex base. It was a good size to allow me to pull a wire through the wall. It's pretty strong, has good flexibility. I took a little break to adjust my grip and check my drilling direction, and the drill was happily hanging from the bit, and was mostly horizontal. Extra long wood bit

Exactly what was needed to complete the project we had. Easy to install and use. Was able to drill through the bolted together joists easily. Comes in a handy plastic box usable later for storing the bit.
