What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these locking pliers for exceptional gripping power, durable heavy-duty construction, and versatility across demanding tasks from welding to precision work. Reviewers consistently highlight the solid grip, secure locking mechanism, and reliable performance even under high stress. Many commend the compact design ideal for confined spaces and smaller hands, with wire cutters and carry case adding practical value. A few report inconsistent quality or difficulty unlocking after tight clamping, though these concerns represent a small minority. Overall, most consider these indispensable tools that outperform cheaper alternatives.

Would Recommendalways there to help, great staffs.
Great design and well made
Would RecommendPerfect size and shape for smaller jobs requiring narrow jaws and longer reach; well made
Rusted so quickly!!!!!
I only had these 2 weeks, hadn’t used them yet, and kept them inside my garage. When I finally needed them, I was greatly surprised to find one of the handles completely rusted so badly you would have thought they sat outside in a rainy salty environment for 10 years!
Work great
Would RecommendGreat pair of locking pliers. Gets the job done as intended.
I had a broken carb bolt to remove perfect
Would RecommendTerrific locking pliers, small nose for short broken bolts
Cheaply made junk
Would Not RecommendKnob on the pliers was totally frozen - needed to break it loose with another pair of pliers! Then, the knob is covered in grease, and once I started operating the jaws back and forth, a ton of metal shavings came falling out! Seems like you just can't buy good tools anymore - what a joke! I will never buy Vise Grip / Irwin products ever again.
