These are great file boxes. They are strong and stack well and hold the file tabs

Bins can't handle shipping - only buy in store

I don't usually dock stars on product reviews for shipping issues, but in this case, the bins are meh quality AND Lowe's packaged them badly. I ordered 3 of these, and Lowe's FedExed them in a cardboard box with ZERO cushioning -- just stacked plastic rattling around in an empty box. So of course, the bottom bin was cracked clear up the side and the bin above it had a split in its floor panel. (The top bin was fine, for what it's worth.) Nice But Fragile

Although I really like the design of this tote, it is very fragile. I bought this as a replacement for cracking the side of the original tote. When I went to pick up the replacement from Lowes, the checker went to put the new tote on the counter, but hit the corner and cracked the new one, so we had to order another replacement. The Lowes checker was very apologetic and thoroughly compensated me for the accident. She had the new one shipped to my house and it arrived within the week.

Tops/covers not as sturdy as the bins

The bins are sturdier than the tops. If using for light storage, they may stand up to stacking, but since these are designed for file storage, I suspect anything more than two high will damage the tops. Otherwise, I'd say they appear as advertised, are made in the USA, and have a fairly decent price point at $13/bin.

Best price for light-duty file storage totes.

These were the most economical file boxes I could find at about $10 each. They are lightweight so if you'll be using & moving the boxes a lot you might want something stronger.

This is good size for a variety of uses

Space-saving Tote for Files

I like that I was able to empty out two large file drawers and fit all the hanging files into this tote. Very convenient and easy to look through the files as they move smoothly on the "rails" inside the tote.

Perfect height for under bed storage

These containers are less than the maximum 12" allowed under a newly purchased Bed. Worked so well we bought another set, all fitting under the bed!

Love the sturdiness

They're sturdy enough to hold lots of stuff, they stack well on top of one another, and the clear lid allows me to see what's inside.

Sturdy
