Garbage disposal
I bought a badger 5 1/2hp 12 years ago in april 2014 and it just now went out amazing lasted this long . Great products are those that out last their expiration dates. Thanks mary h

Instructions lie
Would Not RecommendAccording to the instructions "the disposal will rotate freely to align plumbing..." It does not. It only turns about a 1/4 inch. So you have to align the sink drain, the disposal, and plumbing all at the same time. On the old disposal the flange rotated freely to simplify the process. I have installed a number of disposals and never had this issue. It just makes the installation a pain in the rear.

Would Not RecommendAfter three years leaking from the bottom reset button. Bearings and seal worn out as well. Piece of junk.

Not long enough lasting
Would Not RecommendBought this about 4-5 years ago(not really sure about the exact time frame). Rusted through the bottom, which is the same as what was replaced before. Though, I'm not entirely certain it's not due to the corrosiveness of our water where we live. Either way, I would expect longer life from this product.
