Would RecommendThis was exactly the size I needed for my garage. My only wish is that the brackets that support it from the ceiling were a little more stable. I bought a 1 x 3 as you'll see in the picture to reinforce 2 of the brackets. Other than that it's fine. The picture shows it at the maximum length of 28".

Would Not RecommendI purchased two of these units. One of them was fine. The other was missing half of the shelf and hanging assembly. Three phone calls and one email to the number given for missing parts and I have yet to hear from anyone.

Would Not RecommendWould be better if 47-48 inches long. Could hang between or along 24” rafters, without having the wire base hanging over the side. Also, I’m never going to put 250lbs on this. I wouldn’t trust it with that much weight.

Poor installation guidance
Would RecommendThe installation takes much longer than 30 minutes. The alignment of the ceiling cleats takes about 2 hours if you want the shelf to hang true, plumb and square. The mounting hole template on the cardboard box was off by 3/4”! If you figure all this out as I have done , it is a good shelf.
