This is the old model

I found out why you could save 100 dollars buying online only. I went to store to purchase it for the sale price but was informed it's an online price only. So I ordered it but upon receiving it I see it is the old discontinued model. This is the rancher 450 replaced by the rancher 450 S. Not a real big deal but the S model is a lil better and the store will not inform you about this. They told me it's the same saw but it is not.

Never received product after online purchase made. Fedex cancelled promised delivery date then rerouted product to various places including from Bethlehem PA to Texas. I was told by Lowes that I the customer had to follow up with Fedex which was time consuming and frustrating because they could not find package. Upon request of refund I was told it would take 3-10days. This has tied up my money for potential of 20 days and I still dont have the chainsaw I need

Don't Buy

Cuts and runs good, but the chain keeps popping off and gets bent easily. I've had to buy several chains already. I wouldn't buy again. I never had this issue with my Echo.

Starts when it wants, not when you want it to

Purchased from Lowe’s Escondido CA. Only ever used the Husqvarna fuel. This thing is really hard to start. Prepare to get a real workout. Really regret this purchase. When it finally does start, the chain needs constant adjustment. This is a poorly designed chainsaw.

Horrible

We purchased this and on the first use the primer messed up and has poured everywhere. Had to get another one because we were in mid job and it happened to the new chainsaw. I don’t recommend this product at all.

Buy a Stihl....for what you spend dollar for dollar DO NOT buy this chainsaw. This is by the worst chainsaw I've ever had the displeasure using. Hears good things about it, thought id give it a chance, I will never buy Husqvarna again. I've been through 3 chains and 2 bars, something in the sawnitself keeps knocking about 5 teeth in a row on every chain, I've replaced half my parts inside to prevent it from happening. Worse chainsaw I’ve owned

Chainsaw tensioner is terrible and requires frequent (almost immediate) adjustments even after just 2-3 minutes of use. The chain it came with required adjustment to allow for a better bite (didn’t cut whatsoever). Difficult to start even on first use. You will be pulling to start, A LOT! Still difficult to start. Would not recommend.. I got a free Poulan from the side of the road that worked better than this. Husqvarna should be embarrassed their name is on this.

Worth the money for this quality!

My hubby likes everything about this saw. He has had the others (brands and styles) and this saw is top notch quality!!

Factory defect

Purchased, April, three months ago. Used five times. Overheats and chain keeps jumping off the bar. Referred to local repair shop by Husqvarna. The shop just repeated what I described as to the problem with the chainsaw. In their own words the problem was my own problem. No options or ideas as far as repairing the chainsaw. The shop just didn't want to bother.
