Awful return policy for out of the box broken item

Awful, didnt work right out of the box and Lowes wont take it back because i put gas in it. No way to test their broken product without gassing it up but now lowes wants no responsibility for the return. Shameful customer service....stay away.

Stop working

I have got 2 saws from them the 1 one stop 2 hr. In and the 2nd saw stop after useing it 2 time .with the 2 year lowes protection plan its not covered. Do not buy from there.

It stop runing after 20 min and lowes will not take it back .

Powerful and Lightweight

This tool is excellent for cutting down trees and/large branches. Powerful and yet lightweight for easy management. Start up wach time pulled. No issues. Highly recommend.

Do not buy this chainsaw at Lowe's!

I purchased this Husqvarna 435 chainsaw on Thursday at Lowe’s. On Saturday I tried to start the chainsaw to do some yardwork using the recommended Husqvarna pre-mixed fuel. I followed the starting instructions on my new Husqvarna with no success. I pulled the cord at least 50 times, and nothing. Finally, using my 3 hands, I was able to hold the chainsaw in place, fully pull the throttle, and pull the starter cord. It started but would not idle at all. It is much lighter weighing chainsaw than the 455

It took a while to initially get it started and running and keep it running. I guess I’m still in the break-in stage of it. This part is a little disappointing. Thought about taking it somewhere and getting the idle adjusted. Still gonna get a little bit to break in before I do that if I have to. I am very pleased with the weight and the ease of cutting!

Lowe’s lost a costumer

Brand new wouldn’t run out of the box, Husqvrna customer service wouldn’t assist with troubleshooting. Would not buy from either in the future

No Support

Bought Monday, used for 1.5 hrs, used Tues another hour, Wednesday another 1.5 hrs. Thursday: nothing but problems, difficult to start, wouldn't idle and if I could coax it into idling it would shut down when applying power. I go to Lowes and I am 1 day over the return period. THE RETURN PERIOD IS 48 HOURS. BEWARE. I tried every number I could find for Husqvarna, nothing but automation and texted links. I purchased this on the name alone because i didnt want to deal with this. I used 90 ...

I used it for one day, and when I tried to turn it on the next day, it wouldn't turn on anymore. I tried to return it to the store for a replacement, and they told me I only had 48 hours to do so. I won't buy anything else from Lowes. I find this treatment shameful

A "no" just because it doesn't start reliably.

A lot of people struggle to get these things started. After that, they also find that the idle is too low and the throttle needs to be massaged to keep the saw running even after it's warmed up. Having been through that, here's some advice: first, pass on the 435 altogether if you're still shopping. It's not a great saw, and I should have read the reviews myself. But if you have one, and you are able to get it started right out of the box, let it run without a load for a LONG time, giving it so...

Look at the One-Star Reviews. Poorly engineered.

So sad I bought this saw based on the Husqvarna brand name. Out of the box, it was hard to start, despite the so-called "easy start" design. When it did start - - using premixed engineered fuel and MANY pulls - - it ran for about 5 minutes and stopped, and would never start again. I think the reviews tell the story. Go for a Stihl or an electric. I think I've had it with gas saws.

Well the first one I bought the newest model right out of the box would not start had to return it and got the older model but same saw specs and so far no issues works fine

Will not start

Worked well on the first day. It would cut out when idling sometimes but other wise worked great. Restarted easily. Second day with the same fuel, it would not start. Spark is good, chamber has fuel but the engine will not start. I would not recommend this product.

Good chainsaw out the box its affordable and it cuts.
