Excellent electric weed eater

I’ve had this weed eater for a year and I use it every week or two during the summer to trim around the flower beds, etc in my 1-acre suburban yard. It’s been great, lightweight, easy to use, plenty of battery life (if you keep the battery charged), and enough power for my manicured yard. I love how you can reverse the spin direction with a push of a button so that the mower is never flinging grass back at you. Faulty Do not purchase!

I purchased this unit along with an additional battery. After less than 2 weeks of normal usage the trimmer head stopped working. Both batteries were fully charged. I have to take it to a dealer to get it diagnosed, out of my own pocket. I spent almost $500 on this unit and Lowes will not accept it for return because its been used and is not new in the box. Ridiculous!

Battery charger not charging

Brand new unit out of the box the battery charger will not charge. I drove 100 miles one way to buy this unit that was not sold in my local store. I have another yard tool that takes the same battery and charger. The old charger will charge the new battery. Now where the fun starts called Husqvarna several times only to get a bot, went online to get a bot. I did get a person that could not help me with a new warranty charger replacement. Husqvarna weedeater

I bought this and it stopped working husqvarna is no help I wouldn't buy this piece of junk try a Stihl I herd they work great. You would think husqvarna would want it back too see what happened too it the thing is brand new.

Powerful trimmer, long lasting battery

I'm really pleased with this trimmer. Plenty of power and battery charge lasts a long time. Users who are unfamiliar with battery powered tools need to fully charge the battery before using them.

Light weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a full season now and I don't do a ton of trimming but I love it. Very light weight and since I have the battery chainsaw I can just swap batteries around easily enough if I need to. I would highly recommend this is you already own or thinking about getting different battery powered devices. Note that this is only a smaller battery than the chainsaw but still last long enough for my property.
