Great Chain Saw

This saw works great. Cuts through large hardwoods no problem.

Well balanced saw

Starts easy, cuts very well. Only drawback is it tends to tip over when you set it down.

Don't buy the warranties

The chainsaw worked amazing but the warranty I bought with it the chainsaw bar got pinched and when I talked with the the staff at the help desk they couldn't help me a because thet didn't believe it was covered and then gave me the phone number to Husqvarna but no help there either. My suggestion don't buy the warranties they are worthless.

Junk right out of the box

Brand new out of the box first time use on a small dead tree about 4” diameter and the thing falls apart. The nut that secures the bar in place came loose the cover fell of and the chain and bar fall off. Try to put back together and the chain has burr’s on it so it will not go back on. I never had a chainsaw with only one nut holding the bar on. Took back to lowes and got my money back. Will spend that money on a better saw.

started to melt

Housing started to melt before I used up my first, and only tank of gas .maybe I got a bad chainsaw because this is or was a good brand

DO NOT BUY

Crappy low quality saw from a company that you expect to do better. Only has 1 bar nut unlike every other saw i have ever seen that has two. 1 is not enough to hold the bar in place. It will never keep tension and will throw chains every few minutes if you dont watch it. I am on my 5th chain. I am ashamed I spent so much money on such a terrible product. Mine gets hot and wont restart until it cools, and ive already had to take the starter pulley off and rewind it after it malfunctioned. Total r...

Always been a fan of Husqvarna saws, this one is amazingly easy to start and very light. Not sure it would be great for a pro but for me its been perfect. Usually use it for branch cleanup and the occasional tree that need to come down on the old homestead..

This product gets one star, because that’s about how many times it actually worked. First time: worked great, no problem. Second time, after thorough cleaning and checking fluid levels, it fired up just fine, but the chain came off after the second cut (branches were about as thick as my forearm). After taking off the bar and chain, cleaning even more, soaking the chain in oil, and adjusting tension various times, the chain will not turn, no matter how much adjusting is done. Cannot be Warrantied

When I went to register for the warranty on the Husqvarna website, the product is not on their site, so it cannot be warrantied. I returned it to Lowe's. Spent about 25 minutes with Husqvarna support to figure this out.

Very Good machine

It is probably the best machine at the pricepoint (more expensive may be better, but not sure). Lowe's does good with that choice. I had one before and it performed well and consistant. This one is about the same - very good.

Bar does not hold a chain.

I purchased this saw to clear a few acres of soft wood. Day one after having it the Husqvarna chain kept jumping. So I replaced it with an Oregon chain. This to resulted in several issues. I’m not sure if it is due to the. 325 pitch. But this saw is much worse than any 3/8” Stihl I’ve had. When replacing the chain the locking bolt for the bar fell into the oil reservoir. So I had to fish that out and put everything together. I tried to take it back to Lowe’s and explain all if the issues with it...
