Fan could not be extended. 2 inch downrod only.

When I ordered this fan it gave me the option to order down rods. However when the installer came, he did not find wiring in the kit long enough to adapt the fan to the 60 inch extension rod. When we looked into a wiring kit, the installer told us we could not add an extension wiring kit because the wiring did not have a plug in for the extension wiring. Great fan

Light could be brighter but fan great. Very quiet.

Not worth the money

It works, but that’s about it. Not worth the price when a less expensive one actually looks better, this looks completely cheap and appears to be cheaply made.

Loved it but only lasted 5 years

I got this Fan on January 2018 and it recently stopped working (5yrs). I did loved it because the airflow was great for my bedroom. Hunter fan

Paid a professional electrician to install this fan. The receiver is defective. I tried for two days to contact Hunter fan Company. They do not care that I paid $ 400.00 to install a defective fan. I was told to return the defective fan after it was installed on a 17 foot ceiling. DO NOT BUY anything from this Company. I am contacting consumer protection in my state . Looks great in both rooms!

Delivery was not very good - 2 of the fan boxes were left out in the rain - not put up under the porch overhang. Luckily there was no damage to the fans.

So disappointed

I had these fans put in every room of our house when we built and it was unfortunately a big mistake. The first round of fans we had would all flash every few minutes so they were all replaced with the same model. The new fans we received don’t flash, but I can’t use the remote to control the lights. Looks great but motor hum was annoying.

Bought 5 of these to replace inexpensive ones already in house. Liked the style, clear instructions, good value. Didnt like the hum from motor when fan was running at any speed on 2 of the 3 I installed initially. This was unacceptable in bedrooms. Hunter offered to replace them but I decided to return them and get DC motor fans, Hunter Melbourne. Much quieter, brighter lights. More expensive but better all around.

Remote not working

The receiver for the remote inside fan was DOA.

Do not buy this fan. Faulty lights

Unfortunately I had FIVE of these fans professionally installed upstairs in my house. The lights, which are incredibly dim even at the brightest setting, blink on and off every few minutes. Having 5 fans blinking, all within sight of one another when doors are open, is not good. Disappointed

Purchased six sentinel fans. Chose Hunter over Hampton Bay. All fans have surging where the light kit literally goes off and then back on. This is happening with all fans. In a newer home with Arc Fault bedroom breakers figured the Arc Faults were probably the cause. This last week finally got around to removing the Arc Faults and installing regular HOM Sq D 15amp breakers. Did not solve the problem. This has turned out to be a fan issue. Surpassed all expectations

I’m not sure what all the hype is with DC motors. This fan is so quiet that I wasnt even sure if I turned it off and it was winding down or if it was still running. The airflow is no joke either and the brightness of the light surpassed my expectations. Overall I’m very impressed. It’s much nicer than my other Hunter ceiling fans.
