Ratings & Reviews for Hunter Toledo Easy Install 52-in Fresh White Ceiling Fan With Light Chain

52 inch Hunter Toledo whirling sound

I’ve always been a Hunter Brand “FAN.” Anywho, I got this fan to replace my 25-year-old Hunter Lancaster, which was outstanding, but they no longer make it . Installed the new Toledo and it did great at first, then it started making a high-pitched whirling noise inside the motor housing at the change of each Speed then stops. I’ve checked everything there is to check. Maybe just a bad unit. However, it does look great and produces a great amount of air flow. Unfortunately, I’ll have to return.

Easy installation

Good air, so-so light

Puts out good air flow I don’t care for the look of the light fixture once the included bulbs were installed. I thought it would be brighter

Review of Hunter's Responses

The Fan Motor runs quietly and it has a nice clean appearance. The cover that goes flush against the ceiling and which is supposed snap in place is poorly designed or not well manufactured. My electrician (who has 40 years of experience including "100s" of ceiling fans tried for an hour to get it to work but it kept slipping off after sometime. Hunter Fans customer service had me on hold for 15 minutes and so I gave up. I told my electrician to drill two holes in the cover and fix it by drilling...

Nice fan, would recommend

Fairly easy install and fan is more powerful than my previous one. I like that it has actual light bulbs (not LEDs that are irreplaceable) and they were included. Good value in comparison to others I considered.

Excellent and necessary in Arizona year round.

This was the first ceiling fan my 19 year old installed. We bought 3 of them, and my husband installed the 3rd one and could not stop raving over how easy it was compared to the 2 dozen other fans he has installed in the last 30 years. He said the pieces snapped together in seconds cutting the time to a fraction of what it used to take. My installers have not taken the time to hook the fans up to the 3 way light switches we have in the wall from our previous beloved fans which started failing at...

Great ceiling fans

I bought 2 of these for an enclosed porch. They have 6 blades and move a lot of air. They have pull chain controls which are so much more dependable than remotes which can stop working at any time and the manufacturer likely doesn’t make a replacement. The light kit has LED light bulbs which are easy to replace. Installation was fairly simple. The decorative piece that fits at the ceiling was a little difficult to snap into place but otherwise everything else fit into place easily. This is a gr...

Stylish abd Easy to Install

I purchased this fan about 1 month ago. It was an easy installation. The fan is stylish and works well. So much so, that I purchased 2 more for adsitional rooms in my home.

GOOD FAN

Moves alot of air and runs SILENT.

Big fan

Big fan of the big fan

Works great looks great and it is quiet

This 52" overhead fan and light and 6 blades. It is very stable in all speeds no wobbling. The twin lamps in a flat bottom enclosure produced a nice light. I special ordered the brushed Nickle instead of the black color the store has on display. It looks really nice against the off-white ceiling. Hunter provided wiring in the fan for a single switch or dual switch operation to split the light and fan different switches. This fan has pull chains instead of a remote. Not another remote to lose or...

Really like this fan
