Would RecommendI love this fan the color is perfect. At first I was concerned that the fan would be too big for room as it is replacing a 49" fan but it is perfect. It's quiet and it puts off enough light for me as my eyesight is not the same as it was when I was 20. Additionally, the light bulbs are easy to get to for changing which is a must for a short person who has to balance on a ladder (not a step stool), hold the new light bulb, take out the old light bulb, and hold the chandelier cover (old fan). Would RecommendCan hear this fan hum, but not terrible. and does not seem to move as much air as the non-low profile builder model. I would not put in a bedroom, and I did not. Great for a common area where people sometimes walk. Bright lights.

Quiet attractive cooling
Would RecommendNow we have two of these Low Profile Light/Fans in our large front room cooling us with only a whisper during this hot summer. Looking forward to the wood stove and winter when we will be able to distribute the heat throughout the area using the fan moving air up and around.
