QUIET
Would RecommendI love this fan the color is perfect. At first I was concerned that the fan would be too big for room as it is replacing a 49" fan but it is perfect. It's quiet and it puts off enough light for me as my eyesight is not the same as it was when I was 20. Additionally, the light bulbs are easy to get to for changing which is a must for a short person who has to balance on a ladder (not a step stool), hold the new light bulb, take out the old light bulb, and hold the chandelier cover (old fan). The ...

In a sitting room
Would RecommendCan hear this fan hum, but not terrible. and does not seem to move as much air as the non-low profile builder model. I would not put in a bedroom, and I did not. Great for a common area where people sometimes walk. Bright lights.

Great fan but need to upgrade wire names
Would RecommendGreat fan. Easy to install. Need to label wires to say which ones go to fan and which ones go to lights.

Fan review
Would RecommendThe fan works well. The lights really brighten the place up. More importantly, it is very quiet. Had a crew from the local electric shop come in and put it up; they seem to think it was easy to install.

Attractive fan, runs well
Would RecommendA little tricky to hang since it’s a ceiling hugger, but overall went up easily and looks great.

Noise
Would Not RecommendI bought two for a very long room. My handyman put one up. When he was here, I noticed no sound. When I turned it on later in the day, one of the bulbs provided had already burned out and the fan has a low clicking noise as it turns. I have an electrician coming in a week to install the second fan and am unsure of what to do. This room is going to be used for my home-based office for a job I start tomorrow. I've always loved Hunter and have three in other rooms of my house, all installed in ...
